Accountant (International Accounting Team)

And this is our Accountant for those who possess a strong sense for detail, analytical skills and are ready to combat discrepancies in financial records.

Tasks in the role
- Lead local VAT process—record, submission, and return.
- Verify and record invoices in ERP, ensuring contractual compliance and timely settlement.

Ensuring all reporting is compliant with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Take part in setting up local accounting requirements in ERP system.
- Organize and maintain physical finance archive (filing of invoices and relevant finance documents).
- Manage employee reimbursements: review, verify, document.
- Communicate with payroll provider regarding reimbursements to employees and other questions.
- Documenting local business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Prepare reports as requested.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Who we are looking for
- Finance or Accounting Degree (college or Bachelor’s degree, preferably from recognized European University).
- Finance background, with minimum of 2-3 years of local (DE) experience.

Solid MS Office skills: Excel.
- English language at professional working proficiency level.
- Fast learner with excellent time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of local accounting and VAT/tax legislation and other relevant local regulations.
- You have experience with ERP Oracle as an advantage, any other ERP a plus.
- Experience working in international environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Possess troubleshooting, problem-solving, and creative/innovative thought-processing skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
