Legal Counsel for Corporate, Finance and Reporting

**Tasks**:

- Group-level negotiation and advice on intricate, high-volume, high-impact finance deals (e.g., debt capital markets transactions, syndicated loans, bonds).
- Offering counsel and arranging bi
- and multi-lateral finance arrangements.
- Counselling and negotiating group-internal funding deals in different nations and areas.
- Creation and improvement of best practises and worldwide standards for the entire organisation with regard to finance.
- Assistance to group Corporate Finance and Treasury in other financial-related areas, such as global cash management, compliance, and derivative transactions.
- The global centre of expertise and the initial point of contact for any issues pertaining to the group's finances.
- Offering guidance on group financial reporting to Corporate Controlling & Corporate Accounting (US SEC; IFRS; German GAAP).
- The corporate controlling and corporate accounting, finance, and treasury departments' single point of contact.
- Tracking and disclosing legal concerns (globally).
- The team's main point of contact for risk management.

**Requirements**:

- German Second State Exam, Law School (Zweites Juristisches Staatsexamen)
- Advanced professional proficiency (earned through employment with an international law firm or as in-house counsel)
- Several years of experience in line management at a big worldwide corporation
- Proficient understanding of a variety of business law topics, particularly financing law (such as credit law and debt capital markets), commercial law, corporate law (particularly stock corporation law), capital markets law, and financial services legislation.
- Experience in capital market law compliance, financial reporting, and market practise in the administrative and financing fields.
- Good communication skills, an awareness of economics, high moral standards, and a professional appearance are all desirable.
- Written and verbal English proficiency is necessary.
- Additional language proficiency is desired.
