**As a Technical Writer, you will collaboratively work with our Munich-based product development team consisting of software developers, QA, and product specialists to deliver Goodly’s AR solution. Specifically, this includes**:

- Ownership of all product documentation and documentation-related issues.
- Design, write and edit product documentation with the goal of adequate recording and traceability of product changes, and attention to accuracy, relevance, and adherence to document control and change management procedures.
- Taking care of the documentation of all steps of the product development life cycle like installation, deployment, and training procedures.
- Establishing and advocating for good documentation practices.
- Participating in content creation, fostering knowledge capture and transfer.
- Continuously monitoring and improving software in terms of editing, style, relevancy, and consistency of language used inside software as well as in supporting documentation.

**As Technical Writer, you'll need to have**:

- Proficiency in your technical writing style due to more than 3 years of technical writing experience
- Knowledge of publishing norms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (for now)
- Proficiency in effective documentation workflows
- Proficiency in written and spoken English skills
- Proficiency in gathering information through interviews, using our software, and consultations
- Residence in the Munich area and hold a valid work permit (Blue Card)

**Even better if you have**:

- Experience in writing documentation and manuals for complex software.
- Experience in writing documentation and manuals for AR products.
- Experience in writing and maintaining HTML-based online manuals.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
- Experience in working with one or more document management systems.
- Knowledge of documentation internationalization, localization, and translation.
- Experience in working in GMP (GxP) regulated environments.
- German language skills
