For our office in Frankfurt we are currently looking for a new Global Benchmarks Associate to join our DAX Strategy Team within the Product organization. The team plays a key role in the product organization of Qontigo: Its core responsibility is to ensure the integrity of the famous German benchmark DAX and its siblings. To make this happen, the team closely collaborates with the Research & Design Teams inside the organization, but also maintains a close relationship with the senior management of the major shareholder Deutsche Börse and investment professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Speak to market participants about the integrity of existing and the suitability of new index concepts and understand future demand
- Conduct Competitor Analysis on regular basis
- Run market consultations for material changes of existing index concepts
- Run independently small to medium size index projects from specification to data inbounding to implementation to launch
- Define and enhance the index methodology, in line with the stated objectives and in compliance with the existing regulations (BMR, UCITS)
- Compile the internal index specification documentation for methodology change projects
- Conduct quantitative back-test of indices to proof the functioning of the product specification
- Conduct complex Performance Analysis, such as Risk-Return Figures and Performance Attribution for existing Indices on demand
- Support marketing to ensure successful product placement
- Support Product Management to create presentations for training of sales, and sales pitch books

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry with an in depth understanding of the Capital Market, Index, ETFs and/or Structured Products
- An MSc degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance or related field
- Sound programming skills in either VBA Python are a plus
- Experience of working with databases and large data sets
- Good knowledge of Bloomberg, FactSet and Refinitiv products (e.g. QAD)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Thinking out of the box and open mind
- Ability to manage projects involving different internal and/or external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in English mandatory, fluent German is highly beneficial
