What this role looks like.
Participating in international IT projects
Contributing to a product team as the expert for one or more fields of knowledge and expertise related to category review and planning optimiszation
Acting as a trusted advisor for a product (or within a team) for technical questions concerning the future category planning solution
Contributing to the design, implementation, configuration, testing and use of the product
Ensuring that the product complies with the principles defined for the respective area(s) of expertise
Acting as an ambassador for category planning by sharing knowledge and best practices within your team and beyond
Supporting the initiative to identify the future IT solution for category planning IT Solution
Translating business requirements into system requirements and supporting the technology selection Your Profile

In-depth knowledge and experience related to category planning solutions
Agile mindset and the ability to work in agile environments and product teams
Basic understanding of the end-to-end software and product development process
Very good analytical and conceptual skills
Experience using problem-solving tools and techniques
Ability to communicate and interact with the target group
Very good intercultural skills
Professional proficiency in English
Desirable extras.
Basic understanding of process optimiszation
Good knowledge of buying processes within a multicategory retail company (discount experience preferred)
