The Solution Architect (SA) defines the technical and functional architecture of API product and API infrastructure solutions in line with functional and non-functional requirements, following consistent API design patterns and best practices. A key element in this context is the translation of functional and non-functional business requirements into an appropriate technical solution design, leveraging best practices and consistent design patterns leading towards an API-driven business model
- Create input for API design documentation and ensure it is kept up to date
- Closely collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure architecture compliance and make sure that any design options are discussed in a timely manner to allow sufficient time for deliberate decision taking
- Ensure that the solution design is in sync with Target Architecture blueprints and principles, as well as with overarching DB architecture and security standards
- Collaborate with the relevant Technology stakeholders within other squads and across tribes to ensure x-squad and x-tribe solution architecture synchronization and alignment

**Requirements**:

- Very good knowledge in designing/coding Microservices/Webservices with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
- Very good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Swagger
- Knows all facets of software development (including design patterns, modeling, modern software trends, frameworks and methods including agile)
- An organized self-starter able to manage in a complex environment and a team player who continually collaborates and shares information
- An excellent communicator (written & verbal) with fluent German and English (written/verbal)
