Protect the company by actively manage and mitigate compliance risks together with our business sectors
- Enable business by providing advice to all levels of management on compliance topics in the core compliance risk areas
- Develop a strong network across the EMEA region and support the regional EMEA compliance team in all regional aspects
- Provide trainings in the core compliance risk areas
- Continuously support the improvement of design and implementation of the compliance management system (CMS) especially considering the regional aspects
- Monitor the legal and regulatory developments in the EMEA region and together with the compliance central team derive and implement measures to adjust the CMS
- Together with the relevant group functions and the business sector take care that appropriate measures, consequences, and lessons learned are taken in case of any compliance incident
- Actively interact with and support the EMEA compliance coordinator network
- Collaborate continuously with the compliance central team and embrace global compliance initiatives, e.g., regarding trainings, communication, integrity culture
- Foster the continuous analysis of compliance risks in all business areas, especially the monitoring of internal control mechanisms for the early detection of compliance concerns in coordination with other compliance relevant functions and as required initiate a lessons-learned process
- Actively contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of required compliance manuals, policies, and compliance programs
