Your Role
As (Associate) Director Asset and Maintenance Management (M/F/d) you will lead the development and execution of global Maintenance and Asset Management programs, driving a unified strategy across Maintenance, Asset Management, Replacement Planning, and MRO inventory management. Champion the implementation and adoption of MaintainX software, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives and target achievement. You will also spearhead the rollout of best practices and training programs to optimize facility and equipment maintenance and repairs worldwide.
This role offers flexibility, with the option to be based at one of our EMEA locations. The specific office placement will be determined in alignment with both your preferences and the needs of the business.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and governance of lifecycle asset and maintenance programs to optimize asset performance.- Design and implement standardized global maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and condition-based approaches.- Drive continuous improvement using RCM, TPM, and Lean methodologies to enhance maintenance effectiveness.- Oversee global maintenance, calibration, reliability, safety, and risk engineering initiatives, including asset replacement and life extension strategies.- Manage the rollout and adoption of MaintainX software, tracking success and engaging site and regional leadership.- Lead annual and five-year Maintenance Capex budgeting, with ongoing review and performance measurement.- Deliver technical training and coaching to ensure maintenance team competence and quality.- Develop and align Asset and Maintenance Management strategies with internal teams and external service providers.- Collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure integrated planning and execution.- Direct resources and coordinate stakeholders to meet maintenance goals on time and within budget, resolving any resource or technical issues.
Your Profile- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.- 10+ years of leadership experience driving asset and maintenance management in complex multinational organizations.- Proven success in developing and executing enterprise-wide asset strategies with deep expertise in lifecycle management and capital planning.- Strong knowledge of AMM systems (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP PM) and leading digital transformation initiatives.- Exceptional project, change, and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
