You'll work in a welcoming environment, and get the benefits and flexibility to succeed. **The Position** We are seeking a bilingual (English & German) hardworking and dedicated Senior Marketing Specialist to work on all aspects of and implement multi-faceted events for OpenTable across our international markets with focus on EMEA, Mexico, and Canada. This person should have a passion for the dining scene and get excited to craft and execute experiences that will get both restaurants and diners excited about OpenTable and its network, including customer dinners, thought leadership series, trade shows, sponsorships and diner facing events like special experiences and food festivals. People skills and passion for building relationships with our partners, suppliers, customers and internally within OpenTable are of paramount importance. **In this role, you will**: - Report to and working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager you will also partner with our wider team to cultivate strong influencer relationships - Support in the creation of industry event experiences, content, marketing materials, branded giveaways and hospitality initiatives to solidify OpenTable's role as a trusted and valued partner within the restaurant community. - Initiate and develop industry-facing (B2B) events and integrated B2C events to increase brand awareness and create positive brand perception among restaurateurs and diners - Develop scalable and creative tactics in generating sales leads from B2B events, and conversions (bookings, app installs, etc.) through B2C events - Be prepared to roll your sleeves up for hands-on execution work with event venues and production companies in the run up to and during the events. - This role offers the opportunity to help drive a world-class events marketing strategy for the world's leading restaurant reservations provider within collaborative teams across international markets. **Requirements**: - BA/BS degree required - 5+ years of event management experience - A tenacious self-starter who can hit the ground running - Fluency / full working proficiency in German language is a must, any further language is a bonus - Experience exhibiting at trade shows is a strong plus - A passion for the restaurant industry, ideally paired with knowledge and understanding of it is of advantage - Strong communication skills as this role will interface regularly with diverse and cross-functional internal and external stakeholders - Collaborative individual who enjoys participating in cross-functional and global teams - Comfortable with a wide variety of technologies and ability to learn quickly - Superior project management skills; results focus with superb execution and follow-through - Meticulous attention to detail and highly-organized with the ability to identify roadblocks and troubleshoot efficiently and effectively - Comfortable working against hard deadlines and multitask, with "no job is too small or too big" attitude - Comfort with data, numbers, budgets and focus on ROI measurement; experience with Salesforce is a plus - Able and eager to travel to run and attend events and team meetings/offsites - A sense of humor and positive outlook to fit in with our strong performing team is a plus **Benefits**: - Vacation: you will accrue 25 vacation days per year in addition to statutory UK Bank Holidays - One Celebration Day per calendar year - Private Health & Dental and Life Insurances - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Pension Fund - Gym Discount - Bike2Work - Season Loan Ticket - Reimbursable eye tests and 100 GBP contribution towards VDU glasses only **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** OpenTable aspires to be a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve and a culture that is inclusive and welcoming.
