Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy Compliance

Outstanding academic qualifications. Licensed to practice law in an EU member state. - Minimum 10+ years of post-admission legal experience, including experience in private practice. - Ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts and handling pre-litigation disputes and inquiries. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with prior experience of writing papers/recommendations to senior management as well as briefs to regulators.
- Some in-house experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to act as a business partner to senior management.
- Sound and practical judgment, even in ambiguous situations, and comfortable making high-quality decisions quickly and with limited information, have an obsession for satisfying customers and a passion for Amazon.
- The ability to function as part of a European and global legal team and autonomously when required.
- A second (European) language is preferred, but not a must.
