Production Coordinator

**Title**:
Production Coordinator (M/F/d)
**Job Purpose**:

- To coordinate daily distribution between production requirements, operational departments
- in cooperation with the client, and MARKEN internal departments such as Project Management, logistics department, document control and supply chain.
- Continual communication with logistics team to ensure orders will be sent out on time and courier service standards are maintained, along with all regulations.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordination or delegation of all tasks related to kit production consignments
- Continual proactive communication with the Kit Production team, Kit Project Management team and Kit Operation Management
- Professional communication with clients, suppliers, and couriers on a daily basis
- Support the team around all tasks in Kit Production
- Ensure all internal and external stakeholders are being informed about issues on time
- Ensure proper daily reporting to Kit Production Management

**Internal duties and responsibilities**:

- Functional lead of the whole Kit Production Team including performance monitoring to provide feedback to the line manager
- Allocating of daily Kit Production tasks in accordance with the Kit Operation Management
- Support onboarding of new employees by acting as trainer or ensure that delegated Trainers have the respective knowledge and skills
- Align with the Kit Production leadership around resource needs and resource management

**External duties responsibilities**:

- Act as contact for the clients around all kit production related topics, especially around issue, stock and order management
- Overseeing the external communication with clients and couriers, especially the specific kit logistic, kit coordination and all client related shared mailboxes, to ensure all external requests are managed on time

**General duties**:

- Accountable to complete tasks in compliance with MARKEN standard procedures and policies
- Measurement of service failures and deliverables
- Identify potential process improvements and perform continuous improvement process (KPI measurement, 5S and Lean Methods)
- Responsibility to monitor for environment, health and safety related topics around the kit production, shipping department and warehouse
- Monitoring of all re-occurring inspections related to all kit production departments
- Identify of potential savings and help to avoid costs
- Identify need for trainings of all team members

**Specific duties and responsibilities**:

- Miscellaneous duties as assigned to support the business needs.
- Accountable to complete tasks in compliance with MARKEN and client standard procedures and policies
- Identify potential process improvements and support continuous improvement process (KPI measurement, 5S and Lean Methods)
- Responsible for fundamental teamwork in co-operating with others.
- Required to work efficiently under procedures designed by team and others to minimize costs.
- Responsible to keep work area clean and safe.
- Compliance with all health policies and safety-conscious work; treatment of all substances with relevant caution for the protection of oneself and others; immediate notification if health status changes in a way that is detrimental to studies.

- Support the Kit production by working independently and efficiently to process the highest possible volume of shipments.
- Close daily cooperation with the Project Management, the Operations Coordinator and Kit Operation Management
- Monitoring and reporting to higher management of the daily and re-occuring KPI’s
- Pro-active information to all concerned stakeholder (external and internal) of any change of courier services and any related information to any force majeure happening like thunderstorms, strike, wars, attacks, fires and casualties and other topics which might have an impact on the turnaround time of a shipment.
- Pro-active communication to Kit Operation Managers system breakdown or any other situation that may risk the daily send out.
- Ensure all Team Members are compliant with all health and safety policies and safety-conscious work including the treatment of Dangerous Goods with relevant caution for the protection of oneself and others.
- If necessary, support the development, review and revision of SOPs
- Responsible to ensure the shift tasks are scheduled and Team Members are well informed and trained about the tasks which are transferred to them
