We're looking for someone who thrives on ensuring precision in accounting records and is driven to innovate and implement best practices. This is your chance to make a significant impact by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations. Richmond Blackwood is an accounting and financial planning firm that helps high earning independents optimise their finances by levelling up from sole proprietors to limited companies. It scaled from 0 to €200k ARR within 1 year, without any external financing. *Responsibilities*:

- Lead month-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and account balances.
- Coordinate year-end activities, including preparation for audits and financial statement reviews.
- Manage accounts payable functions, overseeing the processing of invoices, payments, and vendor relationships.
- Supervise accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and receipt of payments.
- Oversee Value Added Tax (VAT) processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and accurate reporting.
- Take the lead in preparing and consolidating accurate and timely financial statements for the group.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and elimination during the consolidation process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant German and Irish financial regulations and standards;
- Liaise with German and Irish tax authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance. *Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
- ACCA or CAP qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience;
- Fluency in English and German;
- Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP;
- Certification as a Wirtschaftsprüfer is a plus;
- Proficiency in MSFT Excel and Xero;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills;
