(Senior) People Operations Specialist

We are looking for an experienced German-speaking Senior **People Operations Manager**, in our Gorillas Operations Germany B.V. & Co KG, based in Berlin. You will lead various People Operations tasks such as employee contracts, onboarding, and data management within the organization. In addition, you will play a key role in strategic topics such as Tools and Systems, Performance Management, and Process improvements.

**In this role you will**:

- Manage all administrative areas, e.g. creating contracts and amendments, onboarding new employees, answering employee inquiries, creating statistics, etc.
- Drive forward the digitalization of our documents and processes
- For your colleagues, you are the first point of contact for inquiries regarding payroll, vacation, parental leave, etc.
- Partner with various department stakeholders to identify solutions that enhance and drive the overall business strategy
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and works with other functions to design and implement enhancements
- Utilize the HR information systems to ensure employee data is kept up-to-date and maintained efficiently

**What we expect from you**:

- Fluent in German is a must and good English skills
- 3+ years experience within an HR Operations or People Operations department (Non-recruitment roles)
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent in ‘on-the-job’ experience
- A strong client/ customer-facing body - able to build, engage and maintain relationships
- A self-starter attitude - Proactive, eager to learn and develop, collaborative and approachable
- Previous experience with HR information systems such as BambooHR
- Ideally, previous experience using a ticketing system such as PeopleSoft, Service Now or Zendesk
- Ideally, previous experience with Docusign
