We are looking for a creative International English Localization Specialist (freelance) to work on the localization and transcreation of our marketing content and products. You will be working for our different brands, mainly KAYAK and OpenTable, and will contribute to exciting projects such as new product features and marketing initiatives. **Your tasks**
- Accurate and market-relevant copy adaptation for our products (websites and apps) that appeal to the target market and with an eye to our different brands
- Editing and proofreading content for brand marketing related campaigns, including landing pages, SEO pages, social media copy and newsletter content
- Linguistic quality and functionality checks (Localization Testing) to maximize the engagement with the local audience
- Updates and maintenance of language-specific tools such as style guide and glossary
- The expected weekly workload is of 10 - 15 hours, potentially more depending on upcoming projects and availability within the team

**Your Profile**
- Native speaker of English, particularly with proficiency in one or more variants outside the US (UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, etc.) (mandatory)
- Knowledge of additional languages is a great plus
- Product UI localization experience
- Experience with linguistic review and functionality testing
- SEO experience is a plus
- Creative translation / transcreation experience
- Training or education in a relevant field (marketing, copywriting, communication, translation or similar)
- Ability to learn new tools and technical procedures quickly and effectively
- Enjoys working with a variety of tasks, and capable of independently managing workflow, information and processes for different types of projects
