**Workplace**:
We are mainly looking for this role to be based within Germany, preferably in our HQ in Berlin. We are a remote-first company, with teams located around the Globe and our HQ office in Berlin where the team often meets in the office.

We are seeking a junior

This position would be suitable for a lawyer with several years of post-qualification experience (2-4 years) who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

**What you will do**:

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly with our transportation operator and retailer partners;
- Advising business teams (sales, operations, product, procurement, HR, etc.) on day-to-day legal issues with a focus on pragmatic, solution-oriented guidance;
- Providing support on corporate governance matters and internal policies;
- Working with compliance and security teams on relevant compliance areas;
- Contributing to the creation and improvement of internal contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes; and
- Liaising with external counsel where required.

**Who you are**:

- Fully qualified lawyer (Second German State Exam / BAR admission in Germany or equivalent UK or EU qualification).
- 2-4 years of professional experience, ideally both at a reputable law firm and in-house at a technology start-up company.
- Demonstrable experience in commercial contract law including IT and IP contracts.
- Familiarity with compliance topics, especially relating to data protection.
- Strong analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to translate legal concepts into practical business advice.
- A hands-on, proactive, and collaborative approach.
