In this exciting chapter of continued growth and expansion for Chase, we’re looking for a passionate KYC Specialist** **who will** **be a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of customer due diligence.
- Verify and authenticate customer identities, documentation, and provided information during the onboarding process
- Conduct through customer due diligence in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance, legal, and customer support teams, to address KYC-related issues and inquires.
- Monitor and investigate alerts generated by the KYC systems, taking appropriate action in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure timely escalation of high -risk cases to appropriate teams for further investigation and action
- Communicate with customers when additional information or documentation is required during onboarding process
- Provide valuable input and recommendations for enhancing KYC processes, drawing on expertise in customer due diligence and regulatory compliance

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- In-depth understanding of KYC regulations, AML laws, and compliance frameworks in the financial services industry
- Familiarity with KYC software, databases, and customer screening tool, as well as the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Clear and effective communication is crucial for interactions with internal teams, customers and regulatory authorities.
- The ability to assess customer risk profiles and assign appropriate risk levels based on established criteria.
- Growth mindset and a passion for learning and self-development.
- A commitment to unity and collective growth within the team.
- Excellent communication skills in fluent in German and English.

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Previous experience working within Banking/Financial Service institution within a KYC related role
- Knowledge of the German regulatory framework and best practice regarding KYC process
- Familiarity with digital banking platforms, payment systems, and financial technologies and good understanding of KYC process.
