Director Business Development Flmc Europe

Based in **Europe **, a collaborative & communicative business leader will build and lead a multi-functional Pan-European team, developing and implementing practical plans which result in profitable growth across Hybrid, Discrete, Process and Industrial Markets. This new expanded position will drive the strategy to be the supplier of first choice with our customers, and fully enable Digital Transformation and Machine Automation Solutions technology.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:

- Develop European penetration plans that defines the actions which lead to profitable sales growth in Hybrid, Discrete and Process / Industrial Markets
- Conduct research on market trends
- Research industry trends in manufacturing processes, governmental regulations, and materials being used, identify how these trends are applicable to FLMC and how we can use them for future growth
- Identify competitor’s actions and activities and their implications on FLMC
- Identify companies in the market to target as potential opportunities
- Work with regional sales leaders, the solutions team and salesforce to ensure short and long-term penetration plans and sales growth targets are achieved
- Supervise regional salesforce and drive actions in the European penetration plan - drive cross-regional coordination & integration
- Develop and implement segment playbooks for regional salesforce to follow when dealing with customers
- Constantly assess our product portfolio and work closely with Marketing and Product Management
- to ensure our products have the capabilities to serve and penetrate the market

**FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of successful experience in Hybrid, Discrete or Process / Industrial markets
- Proven track record to deliver results through engaging and coordinating across a multi-country and matrix organization & ability to handle and complete multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Fluent in English language
- Travel up to 50% (Europe)
