**To support our Brand Marketing Team we are looking for you as**:
Freelance Visual Designer (f/m/d)

Your tasks
- Create animated content for digital ads or assets (e.g. GIFs, short animations)
- Brainstorm new creative concepts that will shape marketing campaigns (online & offline)
- Ensure the consistency of brand guidelines and quality of assets across every touchpoint of smava
- Support design requests from other smava teams such as HR, Sales, Office Management
- Collaborate with marketing managers to test and validate new designs
- Maintain a clean and organised file archive

Must-haves
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Visual Arts, Media Design or similar
- A portfolio of previous work, either online or in a PDF
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as visual designer, graphic designer, motion designer or art director (either in an agency or in-house brand environment)
- A strong sense for typography, visual hierarchy, graphics and art direction
- Good motion graphics (animation) skills
- Fluent in English, German skills are a plus
- Proficient level in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Figma
- Open-minded team player mentality with a passion to share ideas in a fast environment
