Expansion Coordinator

Purpose of the role:
The Expansion Coordinator (M/F/d) contributes to the realization of the C&A strategy by delivering functional, safe, efficient, and engaging premises in the right locations, ready to meet our customers’ and co-workers’ needs. You coordinate the expansion in the Italian market, closely interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

**Location**: Work base is Lombardia in Italy or Duesseldorf in Germany with prerequisite to travel to Italy for 3-5 days a month.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Head of Property Europe, you will, together with the Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager for Italy and the Market Lead for South Europe, develop a market plan as well as the Real Estate strategy and prepare for presentations of Business cases in the Investment Board.
- You develop and implement a rollout plan for expansion based on commercial priorities and feasibility, which considers the status of existing stores (refurbishment, relocation, closure) and recognizes needs for a city plan considering high-density situations.
- Deliver Input for the Real Estate Portfolio Manager with preparations for (contract) negotiations.
- Prepare business cases (including location requirements, commercial strategy, configuration of space as well as economic and legal terms) in close cooperation with internal stakeholders.
- Create and develop a spirit of togetherness and a team approach with all internal stakeholders involved in expansion.

**What you bring**:

- Solid Financial/Business Navigation background; experience in Real Estate is a plus
- Strong knowledge of how to create a market study and plan which supports business decisions to be taken and which creates an overall feasible financial structure.
- Good knowledge of how to implement commercial requirements as well as priorities and work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good program and project management skills paired with strong analytical skills.
- Fluent English speaker, Italian (or the interest to learn) is a plus
