We facilitate a smart corporate and financial strategy with technical expertise across accounting, regulatory, tax and strategic financial planning & analysis, allowing Trade Republic to make educated decisions at every step. We believe in the power of numbers and the story they tell. ***WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**: - Lead the delivery of high-quality and timely monthly financials and ensure reliable and accurate daily finance operations - Champion our operational processes, including e.g. Accruals, Reconciliations, AP / AR and Finance Operations processes - Guide the team in executing their work routines and take an active and supportive role in new and/ or challenging situations - Report directly to our Financial Accounting Lead **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**: - At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, financial services, audit, tax or a comparable position with some experience in leading individuals / a small team - Self-driven personality with a "hands-on" approach and high attention to detail - you are able to quickly understand new challenges and structure processes to help your team tackle them efficiently - Proficient knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting rules - if someone from your team comes to you with a difficult technical question, you will be able to efficiently guide them into the right direction - You are a strong communicator and able to make sure your team is getting all the support it needs - Experience in financial services / banking sectors or a fintech startup will be a plus **WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY NOW**: At Trade Republic you will get to do the best work of your career.
