Team Lead Logistics Network Planning

**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As a Team Lead for the Analytics & Tooling Team within Logistics Network Planning, you together with your team will be responsible for shaping the mid-term planning, analyzing and optimizing the volume flows in our Logistics network to offer our customers the best possible experience. The role requires analytical thinking and technical skills to drive and contribute to internal and cross-functional projects. Developing cutting edge automated, data driven forecast models is your passion and you strive for deriving the best possible forecast solution for our operational team as an internal customer. You will closely work with the VP Logistics, Directors for Warehouses & Transportation and other business leaders, acting as thought leader and sparring partner.

- You will lead and optimize the midterm volume planning process and derive actions to balance the network
- You will lead and drive high-impact, complex and cross-functional analysis and develop detailed recommendations for the midterm network setup for senior leadership and execute on them, including efficient stakeholder management
- You will develop technical concepts and a standardized tooling landscape for the mid and long term which increases the automation degree of our forecasting and improves accuracy in our forecasting models
- You will work in close collaboration with Tech teams to understand and improve the volume allocation flow and derive insights on how to connect the information with the forecasting models
- You will define, implement and optimize internal processes and tools to ensure operational efficiency for our growing business
- You will lead a team of experts and support mentoring highly talented team members and peers to help them grow into future business leaders.

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- Studies in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Machine Learning or equivalent education through relevant experiences with 5+ years of professional experience in Business Development, Management Consulting or other analytical and entrepreneurial positions
- Confident in working with large data sets and in possession of excellent analytical skills. You know your way around common software products and forecasting models. Programming skills in Python, R, SQL are a plus.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility: the ability to work in a self-driven, results-oriented and independent manner, taking initiative to improve decision-making and drive the business
- You are an experienced leader with proven project and (executive) stakeholder management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are common practice for you.
- You demonstrated leadership in a growth and complex environment as well as strong networking, team management and organizational skills
- You are business-fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
