Ihre Aufgaben
- Design and perform experiments using iPSC-derived neuronal models to study cellular mechanisms of synapse formation and degeneration
- Develop and implement advanced microscopy pipelines (e.g., expansion microscopy, multiplexed imaging, live-cell imaging)
- Integrate imaging data with proteomic analyses using quantitative mass spectrometry
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including experts in imaging, proteomics, and iPSC technology
- Critically evaluate experimental results and contribute to publications and presentations
- Help supervise students and contribute to lab organization

Ihre Qualifikationen
- PhD in neuroscience, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with iPSC-derived neuronal cultures and/or advanced fluorescence microscopy
- Familiarity with mass spectrometry-based proteomics or willingness to learn
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of motivation, scientific curiosity, and collaborative spirit
- Excellent written and spoken English

The research group of Prof. Dr. Silvio Rizzoli is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to explore molecular and structural aspects of neuronal development and disease using human iPSC-derived neurons. The project will combine advanced fluorescence microscopy (including expansion microscopy and multiplexed imaging) with quantitative mass spectrometry to dissect synaptic architecture, dynamics, and protein networks in health and disease contexts.
