**Overview - CPTO (f/m/d)**
- This is a full-time position based in Berlin, Germany._
CareerFoundry is hiring a Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to lead our Product and Engineering teams, including Machine Learning and AI specialists to help us achieve our vision of accessible and effective education. As one of the leading companies focused on reshaping education and upskilling for the future of work, we are passionate about building products to support learning and increase access to affordable education. It is a major goal of CareerFoundry to bring education to those who would normally struggle to afford education and reshape their careers.
**Your Responsibilities**
- You will work with the product team to establish a clear product vision for practical and accessible education
- You will be responsible for managing the product and solutions roadmap and collaborating with the executive team and strategic leaders across the organization
- A key area of focus will be on creating a strategy for platform automation and scalability using AI technologies
- You have strong situational adaptability and the ability to challenge and guide decision-making processes, even if ambiguity is present - and you effectively manage ambiguity while helping to drive clarity in the process
- Increasing the use of AI to enhance our existing platform and products
- Product value proposition and product market fit
- You will lead both product and engineering functions, with a focus on spearheading cross-collaboration between engineering and product teams
**Requirements**:
- 10+ years' experience in engineering and product managerial positions at startups
- You’re highly collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills and known as a great executive team member and partner
- Strong interest in AI and understanding of what’s possible
- Holding a degree in engineering / computer science, or having relevant experience in software engineering and development
- Strong capabilities in product development
- Data native. Experience with BI systems and using data to discover business opportunities.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Fluent in English
