The **Legal Counsel** will be responsible for **Employment Law** providing legal advice and support to the business on all employment-related matters by being part of our NTT Global Data Centers EMEA Legal & Governance team.
**Your responsibilities**
- Provide excellent, pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice in all areas of employment law, including the hire to retire lifecycle of an employee
- Develop and implement best practices and policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations at local and international levels
- Draft a variety of employment-related documents, templates, and HR policies
- Develop and implement standards for employment contracts, and templates
- Define and regularly provide training to HR team on processes, regulatory updates, and best practices
- Manage employment-related litigation
- Consult with other areas of the business, including procurement, on an ad hoc basis
**Your profile**
- Excellent academic degree with focus on employment law and profound knowledge in contract law
- Proven professional experience in the field of employment law, ideally in a multinational group environment or an international law firm
- Knowledge in German employment law and labour practices as well as in other European jurisdictions; litigation experience a plus
- Excellent German, fluency in English, verbal and written
- Superb oral and written communication skills with the ability to analyse, organize, and present facts, evidence, and related materials effectively in both written and oral form
- Understanding of economic and commercial context, technical processes, as well as very good negotiation skills
- Independent, structured, and proactive way of working combined with a hands-on, team player mentality
