Job ID: 15022- Location: Nürnberg, DE, 95260The VT ET IN PE E department develops power electronics for electric vehicles. One focus is the integration of SiC-based semiconductor devices. This integration includes innovative packaging concepts such as EMC encapsulation of SiC power modules and their reliability evaluation.

**Your new responsibilities**:

- Fabrication of material samples and material characterization EMC.
- Thermo-mechanical stress testing and statistical evaluation
- Microstructural analysis
- Thermo-mechanical simulations using 3D-FEM
- EMC material selection and creation of lifetime models

**Your profile**:

- Completed Master's degree in the field of physics, materials science, e-technology or comparable qualification.
- Programming skills e.g. Python
- User knowledge in ANSYS desirable
- Enjoyment of experimental work such as sample preparation and microscopy
- Basic knowledge in semiconductor device physics
- Very good German and English language skills written and spoken
- Independence; analytical thinking and creativity
