**About the job**:
For a top Automotive supplier for drivetrain and powertrain technologies, Connecting Experts are seeking a Semiconductor Specialist, to join the Power Electronics Design Team. The position will be based in Nuremburg, Germany.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Develop new analysis techniques and analyse and comprehend the failure mechanism
- Analysis of the SiC Mosfets’ internal structure
- Market analysis of emerging technology and materials
- Statistic analysis of single key parameters
- Results presentation and technical discussion in front of the supplier and client
- Designing the power modules using thermal-electrical and thermal-mechanical simulation
- Recognize how connecting processes affect electrical behaviour

**Your Profile**:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant, related field of study
- Vast experience in the automotive electronics industry
- Knowledge of MiniTab and FEM-Ansys
- Expertise in power semiconductor assembly and interconnection technologies
- Comprehension of the inner workings of power semiconductors
- FMEA technique experience
- Experience with analysis tools
- Understanding of Microsoft Office programmes
- Fluency in both English and German (written and verbal)
- The ability to collaborate internationally, a focus on quality and the needs of the client, and problem-solving skills
