- What you will be doing
- An exciting opportunity is waiting for you Join World Courier (Deutschland) GmbH as a Customs Broker. You will be responsible for monitoring all customs entries created by the Export department to ensure that strict HMR&C procedures are adhered to and that the quality of customs entries being produced are of a quality to be expected from a premium operator. Liaison with HMR&C is to be expected as occasionally customs queries can arise.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operation / use of World Courier I.T systems.
- External communications with clients, HMR&C and other regulatory bodies.
- Internal communications with other departments.
- Creating supplementary declarations for shipments.
- Monitoring and updating the electronic transit log, ensuring the guarantee waiver limit.
What your background should look like
Logistics background and previous experience in customs brokerage and ideally in freight forwarding
- Good communication skills - verbally & written - in English and German to work in an international work environment
- Self motivation and team-player mentality
- Ability to keep high attention to detail, also under pressure
- Ideally knowledge of customs IT infrastructure (u.a. ATLAS, EZT)
- Dependability, reliability and trustworthiness
