We’re looking for a Founding Analytics Engineer to join our journey. You’ll work closely with the Head of Data to design, build, and own our modern data stack. From setting up pipelines to transforming data in dbt, you’ll ensure that teams across PERGOLUX have the trusted, timely insights they need. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, wants ownership, and is excited to shape the data culture of a growing company.

Tasks

**What You’ll Do**
- Build and maintain data models in dbt to serve reporting, analysis, and experimentation needs
- Ingest data from tools like Shopify, Zendesk, Aircall, Hubspot, Airtable, and more (via Airbyte, or custom solutions)
- Design and manage our ELT workflows and testing frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Ops, and Finance to deliver usable datasets and dashboards
- Contribute to data infrastructure decisions — from warehouse architecture to orchestration tools
- Be a thought partner in hiring, tooling, and scaling the data team

**Requirements**:
**What We’re Looking For**
- 3+ years experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role
- Deep proficiency in SQL and dbt (or similar transformation frameworks)
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Comfortable with Python for scripting and automation
- Strong communication skills: you can translate complex business problems into engineering solutions and explain those solutions to non-technical audiences
- Strong sense of ownership: you thrive when taking on challenges with incomplete information, filling in the knowledge gaps and proposing end-to-end robust/scalable solutions

**Nice to Have**
- Experience in e-commerce or working with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Hubspot, or Airtable
- Familiarity with Airbyte, Airflow, or similar ingestion platformsExperience in startups or as an early-stage hire in a data team
