You will be supported in your personal development and prepared for later entry into the job market.

You support the Sustainability team across the entire ESG spectrum:

- You carry out research on sustainability risks of our business partners in global energy and commodity trading independently and thus make an important contribution to our due diligence tasks; this includes environmental and climate risks, as well as human rights risks or risks in occupational health and safety
- You carry out research on regulation, market analyses and benchmarks on your own
- You support the organisation of internal wellbeing offers, especially with a focus on promoting mental strength in the trading environment
- You are given your own area of responsibility within the framework of governance tasks, such as maintaining an organisational handbook
- You gain insights into the strategic direction of the company and can actively contribute your ideas
- You support the development of storylines and presentations

**Your powerful skills**
- You show great enthusiasm for the energy transition
- Your proactive and structured way of working sets you apart
- You enjoy working in a team, but also take responsibility for your own task packages
- You are a networker
- You are confident in using Microsoft Office products (especially PowerPoint)
- You have good written and spoken German and English skills
- You can authentically summarise your motivation and personal ideas for the role in a cover letter

**Advantageous, but not a must**
- You are studying at a university near Essen and can come to the RWE Campus during your working hours
- You already have some experience in the energy industry
