To strengthen our team in Client Development and Sales, we are looking for a Sector Leader Energy & Resources (f/m/d) to expand and further develop our existing customer base in the Power & Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors in Germany.

**Responsibilities**
- Strategic business development: Identification and development of new business opportunities with existing customers as well as acquisition of potential new customers.
- Customer management: Establishing, maintaining and developing long-term relationships with key customers in the field of energy generation, transport and storage in order to expand and secure sales potential.
- Analysis & Planning: Preparation of market, competitor and customer analyses to identify new trends and growth areas.
- Offer management: Creation, management and negotiation of individual offers and contracts in close cooperation with the operating units.
- Cross
- and upselling: Advising customers on extended service areas in order to optimally support their business goals.
- Process optimization: Support in the further development of sales and account management processes, including the control of internal knowledge management.
- Branding: Participation in specialist and industry conferences as well as preparation of technical articles for publication in social media, online and print media in order to strengthen the external market presence.
- Personnel management: Disciplinary management of a sector team of about five people as well as active promotion and further development of team size and utilization.
- Cooperation: Intensive cooperation and interface management with all service areas in Germany as well as a strong focus on international cooperation, especially in the European environment.

**Skills & Experience**
- Completed technical or business university degree
- Experience in the sale of services and consulting services
- Many years of knowledge of the energy industry in Germany
- In-depth knowledge of project management in the fields of energy and resources through corresponding work in this industry
- Own consulting experience in relevant industry topics
- Rapid understanding of complex relationships
- Good technical and commercial understanding
- Fluent in German and English, other languages are welcome
- Own network of customer contacts from the energy industry
- Willingness to travel on business in Germany and other European countries
