Summary:

Incumbent may be required to travel to the Consulate Generals Hamburg, Munich, Leipzig, Duesseldorf and Frankfurt, as needed. Visits to these posts may occur twice a year.

**Qualifications and Evaluations**:

- Requirements:
Three years (3) of project/program management experience in a customer service oriented environment is required.

**JOB KNOWLEDGE**:Must have knowledge of general programs, activities and practices of an HR Office.
- Education Requirements:
Two years (or completion of other equivalent post-secondary degree or post secondary education) - vocational education, associate degree, college, university studies - is required.
- Evaluations:
Position requires fluent language skills in English (reading/writing/speaking).
Position requires fluent language skills in German (reading/writing/speaking).
- Proficiency in MS Office suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), database and internet research skills are required.

- IMPORTANT: Applicants who claim status as a preference-eligible U.S. Veteran must submit a copy of their most recent DD-214 (“Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty”), Letter from Veterans’ Affairs which indicates the present existence of a service-connected disability dated within the past six months, equivalent documentation, or certification. A “certification” is any written document from the armed forces that certifies the service member is expected to be discharged or released from active duty service in the armed forces under honorable conditions within 120 days after the certification is submitted by the applicant.
