**Company Description**

SAP has founded the Delos Cloud GmbH (i.Gr.) to deliver a vendor and solution-neutral sovereign cloud and accelerate the digital transformation of public services in Germany. Catering to the need for digitization in the public sector, the new company will act as a trusted partner providing an open sovereign cloud platform. With Sovereignty and Security at its heart, the cloud infrastructure offering is designed to meet the strict and unique national requirements set out by the German Government’s multi-cloud strategy.

**Your Future Role & Responsibilities**
- Manage development and implementation of security solutions in alignment with security strategy
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to resolve any issues related to the to the applicable area of focus
- Analyze trends and emerging technologies for potential program modernization
- Advocate on behalf of the function to gain support from other groups and reduce roadblocks/resistance
- Guide junior team members in developing, implementing, integrating, and operating tools to support detection, prevention, analysis, and resolution of security threats, as applicable to area of focus
- Ensure documentation and socialization of procedures, run-books, and high-level/low-level documentations
- Evaluate current technologies and workflows, and drive implementation of modern automation and orchestration solutions and concepts
- Collaborate with cross functional leaders and stakeholders to support project roadmaps requiring respective functional resources and development of related policies and procedures
- Evangelize best practices and security tooling
- Provide expertise in acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services as it pertains to security engineering
- Research latest trends and emerging technologies, and recommend solution upgrades
- Assist in developing executive metrics to assess and improve program performance
- Develop, maintain, and socialize the strategic vision for the respective function
- Mentor and coach junior team members to increase knowledge base in the team

**Profile & Required Skills**
- IT Security Management standards (BSI Grundschutz)
- IT Principles, Data Security and Risk Management
- Security mechanisms and framework in associated area of focus
- TTP methods and frameworks
- Windows file system, registry functions and memory artifacts and/or Unix/Linux file systems and memory artifacts
- MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain methods and frameworks
- Security Certifications, e.g. CISA, CISM, Security+
- Quality focus
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Fluent German and English language skills both written and oral
- EU citizenship
- Readiness to work in the to-be-founded SAP subsidiary
- Readiness for a German government security clearance

**Work experience**
- 8-10 years of experience working in a 24/7 operational environment (Cyber Intelligence Fusion Center, SOC, NOC, Operations Center)
- 6-8 years of experience in relevant cyber security engineering discipline
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (Powershell, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Experience in at least one coding language
- Experience in managing cases with enterprise SIEM or Incident Management systems
