Radar System Architect

For the development of our radar sensor technology, we are looking for a System Engineer Radar (M/F/diverse) at our locations Lindau, Ulm or Riemerling.
As a System Engineer (m/w/divers) you are responsible to specify and design ADAS products. You are responsible for the product definition during quote phase, the product specification, and the product maturity during product lifecycle. The System Engineer (M/F/diverse) works in the interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to understand and describe the various levels of requirements, the viable technologies and anticipated development. The System Engineer (M/F/diverse) has to align his development with the product system levels above and below.
Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

- Product and feature concept development and specification of system requirements for radar products (ECU, radar technology, vehicle integration, HW/SW interfaces) within ADAS system products by analyzing stakeholder requirements and defining the optimum system solution according to the ADAS roadmap and market needs
- Development of a scalable product system architecture (Tool IBM Jazz / Rational Rhapsody) with the decomposition on functional and physical level including consideration of the technical safety and security concept
- Modelling of the product architecture in UML / Sys ML, simulation of the system performance, integration, and validation in higher system levels with internal and external customers
- Derivation of the design specification for the next lower system level and alignment with the requirement engineers, architects and developers in the electronics, mechanical, high frequency, software, and test domains (Tool IBM Jazz / Doors)
- Ensure traceability and completeness of stakeholder requirements over the product design across all system levels
- Perform the technical risk analysis (system-FMEA, DRBFM, FTA und DFA)
- Align the functional safety and cybersecurity concepts as well as the HIL/SIL simulation solution with the relevant experts
- Support all required type approvals and licenses and the product conformity to legal directives
- Coordinate the intellectual property activities for internal and external patents
- Ensure a structured development and proper technical documentation according to ASPICE, DFSS and INCOSE standards
- Perform product presentations, requirement analysis and technical negotiations with the customer to support acquisitions
- Ensure a worldwide interdisciplinary teamwork collaboration (Jira, Confluence) within an agile SAFe project framework
- Supervise the performance and technical quality of deliverables from suppliers and development partners
