Radar System Architect

For the development of our radar sensor technology, we are looking for a System Architect (M/F/diverse) with focus on the radar sensor simulation-in-the-loop (SIL) model at our locations Lindau, Ulm or Riemerling.
As a System Architect (M/F/diverse) you are responsible to specify and design ADAS products. You are responsible for the product definition during quote phase, the product specification, design, and maturity during product lifecycle. The System Architect (M/F/diverse) works in the interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to understand and describe the various levels of requirements, the viable technologies and anticipated development. The System Architect (M/F/diverse) has to align his development with the product system levels above and below.
Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

- Specification, concept development and implementation of a radar sensor SIL model within system, software, and testing domain by analyzing stakeholder requirements and defining the optimum system solution according to the ADAS roadmap and market needs
- Development of a radar sensor SIL model based on Matlab and C models and implementation in CUDA and integration in the SIL environment
- Derivation to the design specification for the next lower system level and alignment with the requirement engineers, architects and developers in the high frequency, software, and test domains (Tool IBM Doors)
- Support the development of the entire simulation chain, measurement interface as well as HIL/SIL readiness
- Follow software engineering best practices such as module and unit testing / CI and CD pipelines, clean code etc.
- Ensure stakeholder requirement traceability and completeness over the product design across all system level
- Synchronize the model development with the production test specification (PTS) and the results of the technical risk analysis (system-FMEA, DRBFM, FTA and DFA)
- Coordinate the intellectual property activities for internal and external patents
- Ensure a proper technical product documentation and perform product presentations to internal and external stakeholders and requirement analysis and technical negotiations with the customer to support acquisitions
- Supervise the performance and technical quality of deliverables from suppliers and development partners
