For our customers, we develop future technologies for the mobility of tomorrow. This includes solutions in the field of driver assistance systems (ADAS) as well as autonomous driving (AD). Very high demands are placed on functionality, handling, safety, and particularly on the reliability of the systems. To ensure these demands, a variety of sensors using different technology are used in the vehicle. The merging and interpretation of individual sensor data in real time requires high-quality calibration of the sensors and increasingly powerful algorithms for sensor data processing.

Your Tasks:
You work, for example, on:

- Conceptualizing, developing, and optimizing sensor calibration processes for AD vehicles with redundant sensor technologies
- Further development and optimization of existing sensor data fusion algorithms as well as environmental models for urban automated driving
- Design, implementation, and validation of environmental perception processes in automated vehicles

The specific task is determined by your interests and the current focal points of our development work and will be discussed with you in a personal conversation.

Necessary Skills:

- Ongoing studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, information technology, or a comparable course of study
- Good German or English language skills, good programming skills in C++ and Python,
- experience in the field of algorithms and software conception,
- initial experience with programs such as Visual Studio/VS Code, GitLab, ROS, ADTF,
- creativity and abundance of ideas in finding solutions,
- reliability, teamwork, initiative and independent working method.
