The Site Lead in Berlin will work closely at the Global Operations and SDM directions to ensure device(s) readiness, meeting the scheduled data collection session targets and to consistently demonstrate strong customer-service, operational and technical aptitude.
\*Note that bilingual German/English fluency is a requirement for this role as is going into the office 5 days/week.
**Terms**:

- Role: Site Lead for Participant Testing
- Type: Freelance contract
- Location: Obentrautstraße 72, 10963 Berlin, Germany
- Start date: November 4, 2024
- Duration: Through January 31, 2025; potential extension
- Capacity: Up to 8 hours daily, Monday to Friday
- Language: Bilingual German/English
- Pay: $32 USD per hour

Tasks
Asset Management and Logistics
- Manage inventory of smart devices including check-in and check-out for devices entering and exiting the facility
- Coordinate device preparations and shipments across EU sites
- Act as main POC to troubleshoot issues related to onsite testing, logistics and transportation
- Perform basic troubleshooting on smart devices; set up, clean smart devices
- People and Data Management
- Instruct, guide and assist moderators for smart device testing sessions
- Escalate smart device problems or tester reported issues to the designated collection owner
- Collaborate with team members and communicate updates across the team
- Attend device and collection related trainings and status meetings
- Address operational, security and compliance issues onsite
- Oversee collection data quality and transfers

**Requirements**:

- Strong communications skills
- Customer service experience - IT/hardware/wearables a plus
- Logistics experience
- Can follow detailed technical documentation & instructions
- Problem solving capabilities
- Be a quick learner and dependable
- Can work alone with little or no supervision
- Fluent in German and English
- Is able to work on-site from the Berlin office
