About the position

The EIT Health Data Team is looking for a motivated Intern to gain on-the-job experience and be part of
a dynamic team by supporting the overall management of the portfolio and improving the maintenance
and upkeep of the organisation’s data assets.

Reporting to: Senior Manager - Data
Department: Operations Development
Length: 6 months
Location: Munich based, with hybrid working options

**Responsibilities**:

- Data Quality enhancements:

- Work with relevant stakeholders to manually enrich data;
- Support engineering team on data analysis;
- Identify and merge duplicate data entries in technical systems.
- Requirement gathering and testing:

- Support data engineers in gathering data requirements;
- Support data engineers in testing and validation of data.
- Data Glossary creation and maintenance:

- Create and update data definitions and dictionaries;
- Monitor data profiles and identify any deviations from usual standards.
- Project & Technical documentation:

- Create and maintain project and technical documentation.

- Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required from time to time which will

include contributing to the wider EIT Health team.

- This internship is suitable for:

- Excellent communication skills - communicating to different stakeholder groups is at the core

of this role.
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English. German language skills are not

mandatory.
- Very good command of Microsoft Office (particularly in MS Excel & Powerpoint).
- Working knowledge of SQL, PowerBI (Not Mandatory - Will suffice if you’re a quick learner).
- A self-starter who enjoys taking initiative and accepting responsibility to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Interest in technology and data analytics trends.
- Authorization to work in Germany.
