Verantwortlichkeiten
- Polymer-, Compound
- und Formulierungsentwicklung für neue funktionale Polymere in Prototypen und Produkten durch eigene Mitarbeit im Labor
- Bewertung, Auswahl und Umsetzung von kreativen Ideen für neue multifunktionale polymerbasierte Materialien, Produktdesigns und Herstellungstechnologien
- Übernahme von Verantwortung für die Leitung von Projekten und Mitwirkung an Machbarkeitsstudien in interdisziplinären Teams
- Fachliche Führung von Technikern, Auszubildenden und Praktikanten im Labor
- Unterstützung bei der Identifizierung geeigneter Innovationspartner, Kunden oder Lieferanten und Orchestrierung interdisziplinärer Kooperationen zur Beschleunigung von Innovationen, insbesondere in Forschungsprojekten
- Absicherung von Entwicklungsergebnissen durch Mitarbeit bei IP-Anmeldungen

Anforderungen
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Promotion in Chemie, Materialwissenschaften, Chemieingenieurwesen oder einer ähnlichen Disziplin und optional Postdoc-Erfahrung in einem interdisziplinären Bereich
- Vertieftes wissenschaftliches Verständnis in organischer und Polymerchemie, Synthesechemie und Reaktionsmechanismen
- Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Polymersynthese, Polymercharakterisierung und Polymeraufreinigung, idealerweise Erfahrung im Bereich Drug Delivery
- Kompetenz und Begeisterung, relevante Informationen aus Literatur und Patenten zu studieren, zu extrahieren und auf die eigene Arbeit zu übertragen
- Exzellente Englischkenntnisse
- Proaktive, teamorientierte und analytische Arbeitsweise und praktische Hands-on-Mentalität auch im Labor
- Bereitschaft zur Unterstützung am Standort Hanau bei Bedarf
