**Beschreibung**:
EPICUR is an alliance of 9 European Universities with the goal of expanding teaching and learning offers that focus on current social challenges. Ever since its start in 2019, EPICUR has served as a platform for testing new teaching formats and dynamic forms of virtual and in-person mobility. In EPICUR, the University of Freiburg leads Work Package 4 (WP4, “Scaling Up the Learning Offer”), and is primarily responsible for designing and administering the alliance-wide educational offer. So, if you would like to experience and help shape what happens behind the scenes of course design and selection across EPICUR’s priority areas (European Values, Sustainable Transformation, Global Health, Future Intelligence, and Transversal Skills), this might be the right job for you.
The working hours will be approximately 16h/week, ideally starting on 15 October 2025. However, the workload and the start date are flexible, so please don’t let this deter you from applying. The remuneration is based on the student assistant salary compensation scheme.
What will you do?
Your main task will be to support the EPICUR team in the management of EPICUR courses. This includes:
- Helping to gather course proposals sent across the alliance (usually through a survey)
- Uploading course information to the system (similar to HisInOne)
- Assisting with student selection
- Taking meeting notes/minutes for various WP4 meetings
- Contributing your perspective and content ideas to help shape EPICUR programs
What you bring to the table
- Motivation and interest in working on a European project
- Ideas for co-developing dynamic, international learning opportunities within EPICUR’s priority areas
- A very good level of English, both spoken and written
- High reliability
- Good PC skills and a willingness to learn how to work with new software (experience with design software like Canva, Campus Management Systems, and Excel is an asset)
