We are looking for a passionate team leader who will develop and manage the buying and merchandising processes end-to-end. It will be your and your team’s goal to create the right assortment offer, at the right price, in the right quantities, at the right time across all our sales channels.
We are an established company with Swiss roots, running an online marketplace for fashion jewelry as well as several retail stores in Switzerland and Germany. We offer trendy brands and young designers a unique platform for marketing and distributing their products. In addition, we successfully built and manage our own brand Pompidou and are gradually expanding both our private label as well as our brand-building business.
Tasks
- OTB budget planning & management, sales forecasting, inventory management
- Focus on guiding and executing the merchandising/planning activities (vs. creative buying) and oversee all relevant tasks and processes
- Analyse sales, inventory, and online data to uncover insights that guide product assortment decisions and support the efficient allocation of inventory investment
- Ensure optimal levels of product availability across all our sales channels
- Ensure gross margin goals are met through respective assortment mix & pricing
- Provide leadership within the team by directing, focusing, and motivating team members
**Requirements**:
- Min. Bachelor's degree in Business or comparable field
- 5+ years Merchandising/Planning experience in fashion, jewelry or similar industries (preferably for high SKU count categories), involving sales and inventory planning, sales forecasting, OTB forecasting & management
- 1+ year experience in managing a small team
- Capability and passion for building and setting up new tools & processes and evolving these at Glambou
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem solving skills; high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical mind-set and a deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions; advanced Excel skills
