**EU Management Accountant**
This is a role which will act as the sole finance representative for three Longevity Partners entities: Netherlands, Germany, and Italy.
These entities vary in size but require an experienced and well-rounded accountant to support management with a variety of finance tasks to ensure the effective financial control and performance of the entities as they seek to continue growing.
There will be support available from external accountants for the specialised accounting areas such as payroll and tax compliance but the daily finance function in each entity will be controlled by the EU Management Accountant.
This role will report into the EU Finance Manager, based in London.
**Your tasks**:
- Responsible for the preparation of month-end management accounts in NetSuite, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly cash flow, for Netherlands, Germany and Italy
- Involved with all aspects of the month-end-process in NetSuite including posting journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset management, preparation of monthly P&L’s, for Netherlands, Germany and Italy
- Overseeing the sales and purchase ledger in NetSuite, assisting in their good up-keep and processing financial data accordingly
- Invoicing clients including follow-up to address invoicing queries to prevent delayed payment, as well as overseeing credit control to ensure efficient cash collection
- Forecasting monthly cashflows
- Partner with country leadership to enhance financial performance
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements
- Partner with HR and the external payroll provider to ensure accurate payroll information feeds into the monthly payroll cycle
- Manage the entities’ credit cards for essential ad hoc expenses and map the expenses into the finance system
- Liaise with the external accountancy advisors to comply with audit and tax legislation and reporting requirements, and supporting the production of the annual accounts
- Supporting the Group Finance Director in the completion of budgets and forecasts - track budget versus actual spend, explain monthly variances and margin management
- Support the client delivery team with any finance related queries
**Your profile**:
- 5+ years’ experience working in a global finance team in a comparable position
- Competent and efficient using Microsoft Office suite (particularly MS Excel)
- Work well in a team as well as independently, supporting team members and management across various countries and jurisdictions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- **Required**: Oracle NetSuite experience
- **Required**: German GAAP Experience
- **Required**: German speaker
