Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives, ensuring the availability of high-quality products and services at competitive prices
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and legal, to ensure procurement activities are aligned with business requirements
- Drive cost reduction initiatives, identify opportunities for strategic sourcing, and implement best practices across the procurement function
- Implement and enhance procurement policies, processes, and systems to ensure efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Monitor and report key procurement metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Drive sustainability initiatives, promoting ethical sourcing, supplier diversity, and environmentally responsible procurement practices

Experience and Skills we are looking for
- Masters' degree in Business Administration (or equivalent), Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in procurement roles, with significant experience in global procurement operations and leadership
- Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, processes, and best practices, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex situations, make data-driven decisions, and develop innovative procurement solutions
- Proficiency in utilizing procurement software and systems to drive efficiency and transparency
- Strong business acumen, financial understanding, and experience in managing procurement budgets
- Empathetic personality with clear objectives and an entrepreneurial mindset with very good communication skills in German and English
