At Bosque Foods, our vision is to accelerate the world’s transition to an environmentally sustainable, equitable, and animal-free food system.

Our mission is to create the next generation of meat alternatives, starting with whole-cut meat products grown naturally from fungal mycelium. We aim to create better-than-meat products that deliver on the entire taste experience, nutrition, and price of traditional meat without compromise.

Founded in 2020, Bosque Foods is the first European fungi-based meat alternative company focusing entirely on the whole-cut meat segment. After graduating from the world’s leading biotech accelerator program, IndieBio in New York City, we are now opening our lab in Berlin, Germany.

Tasks

As Founder Associate, you will work directly with the Founding team during a minimum 6 month internship, assisting the business operations and shaping Bosque Foods’ overall direction as a company. Your focus will span from market research, customer discovery, marketing, financial modeling, go-to-market strategy, budget tracking, and administration. You should have an entrepreneurial drive and mindset, high ambition and the ability to work in a high-pace/high-stakes environment.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development of the company’s financial modeling and financial analysis
- Assist in developing our go-to-market strategy
- Perform market research and analysis of the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and suggest product development strategies
- Assist in the preparation the company budget and continually track expenses
- Assist the Founding team in recruiting new talents
- Manage workflow on assigned projects to ensure deadlines are met
- Further development of investor funnel and preparation of fundraising documents (pitch deck, investor newsletter, and other fundraising tools as needed)

**Requirements**:

- MBA student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing or similar field
- Hands-on mentality, detail oriented and taking full ownership of the projects and tasks attributed. Punctuality and dependability are a must
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging startup environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent software skills (Excel, Word, Keynote, Pages, Google apps)

**Great-to-Have**:

- Previous work experience in Business development / Financial Modeling / Business Development / Marketing
- Currently pursuing or recent graduate of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus
- Knowledge of the Alternative-protein market and Biotech landscape is a plus
- Fluent German speaking is a plus
