In our Head offices in Düsseldorf, we develop new trends whilst focusing on sustainability along the value chain of our products. We're seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Sourcing Specialist in our Sourcing team, reporting to the Sourcing Manager in the Circular and Flat Knits team.

Your stakeholders will include the wider sourcing team and other internal C&A teams such as product developers and garment technicians, as well as our external suppliers. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product development and supply chain efforts, ensuring that product development aligns with the correct suppliers within our sourcing strategy.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and nurturing strategic relationships with suppliers
- Support to manage supplier capacities and production units, to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with the team to align with the End-to-End calendar and sourcing strategy to meet milestones
- Contribute to achieving sourcing footprint KPIs and critical path milestones.
- Participate in negotiations to secure favourable costs and terms
- Aid in coordinating pre-production activities and collaborative development meetings between Merchant, Design, Product Development and Technical Services, ensuring supplier capabilities & sourcing strategies / allocation are considered
- Address production-related inquiries and assist in resolving issues
- Contribute to identifying and evaluating new potential suppliers, while gathering insights on market and competitor activities to drive innovation

**What you bring**:

- Fluent English and German, with these languages at business level to speak with suppliers
- An interest to learn and improve your skills in managing supplier relationships
- Some experience in Sourcing, Product Development, or a related role within the fashion industry is a plus
- Ideally you will have had some exposure to local sourcing markets, and an interest in understanding sourcing dynamics and trends
- Basic technical knowledge of your product category is desired
- Developing proficiency in garment construction, costing, fabrics, and other relevant aspects
