We are looking for a Performance Controller who acts as a Business Partner for our German Onshore and PV business based Germany. Our 90 motivated and focused Controllers at RWE Renewables are working in 10 countries across the globe providing financial services for more than 250 operational assets as well as numerous projects under development and construction. Your tasks:

- Supporting the operational business in Germany by refining, implementing and continuously managing the business performance, i.e.
- Setting up, interpreting, analyzing of steering relevant financial and operational KPIs and presentation in a suitable way to the management
- Regular as well as ad-hoc analysis of financial and operational business performance
- Responsible for business partner support, management reporting, business planning and forecasting, variance analysis
- Act as a financial business partner to challenge the business, identify best in class solutions and trends to safeguard the successful development of the business.
- Supporting the German subsidiaries and Joint Venture (shareholder meetings, supervision annual account process, service level agreements etc.) as appropriate or required
- Liaising with internal counterparties within Renewables and the wider RWE group (legal, tax, accounting, finance, risk management, operational teams)
- Developing and continuous improving planning and controlling tools

Your profile:

- Successfully completed university degree or equivalent in economics, finance or business administration
- First professional experience, i.e. up to 3 years in controlling / investment management / finance
- Ideally knowledge of the energy industry
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the European energy market
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format
- Team player with a high level of reliability, integrity and collaboration as well as a high degree of self-organization, personal commitment and flexibility
- Ability to work successfully in different countries and cultures
- Ability to work with data models; initial experience with Tableau or other business intelligence software is desired - Strong knowledge of IFRS, SAP (FI/CO/BI) and MS Office.
- Very good knowledge of German GAAP and other local taxes and regulations
- Fluent in German and English
