Pooling engineering competencies, driving innovative technical and digital solutions to design and deliver the most cost effective energy storage projects - this is the target of Global Battery Storage Engineering Team at RWE. RWE Renewables and its subsidiary RWE Battery Solutions are setting up a global center of competence in the field of energy storage engineering that will support the growth ambition of the entire RWE Group by ensuring energy storage projects of RWE and its customers are designed in the highest quality along the entire life cycle - from the development phase to operation.

As a Project Controller you will be working in the Controlling Team and report directly to the CFO of RWE Battery Solutions. You will be the first point of contact for financial topics for project managers / engineers of RWE Battery Solutions GmbH and financial departments in the RWE Group. You are responsible for key Controlling topics as Financial Reporting and Project Calculations. In the overarching organizational setup of Renewables you are part of the MSF & HR Controlling department for Renewables Onshore Europe & Australia.

**Areas of Responsibilities**:

- Takeover project controller role for our global Battery Storage projects and act as an interface for financial topics for the project managers
- Ensure the execution of financial processes related to the project controlling for the Battery Solutions (e.g. reporting and budgeting)
- Act as a central contact person for financial topics to all service recipients of the Battery Solutions across the RWE group
- Support the RWE group-wide Controlling Workstream in the SAP S4 migration project
- Support the preparation of quarter-end and year-end reporting
- Support in Midterm and budget processes based on the reporting requirements in the RWE Group

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in Controlling / Finance (in particular Reporting, Financing, Valuation)
- Successfully completed university degree in business administration, banking or economics
- Knowledge in SAP CO/FI recommended and Microsoft Office / BI tools
- Very structural way of working and ability to provide support in work structuring to other employees
- Able to work on the one hand independently and on the other hand successfully in international teams (dedicated team player)
- Good communication with decision makers on all levels of the organization and ability to establish yourself as a competent contact person
- Fluent in English
