Ready to take on the challenge? We're on the hunt for a **(Senior) Billing Specialist (f/m/d)** to join our team in Munich, Germany

As our **(Senior)**Billing Specialist** you are a face to our customers. With attention to detail and accuracy you ensure a high-quality billing, and you are keen to scale the billing process with automatization

**How will you make an impact**:

- You will take care of the entire platform subscription billing in Chargebee, deep-diving first into our current processes;
- You will review and process all documents to ensure an accurate first-time billing;
- You will drive the renewal billing, liaising with the Sales team for upsell-opportunities;
- You will counter-check the billing metrics in our CRM system;
- You will handle all billing inquiries promptly and efficiently;
- You will work closely with Finance in various aspects: sub-ledger on the books, revenue recognition, and matching accounts receivables;
- You will be responsible for the dunning process, including preparation of aging reports and analysis; sending reminders and coordinating with internal and externals to secure payments;
- You will identify areas for process improvement and update internal documentation;
- You will handle special projects including cleanups, and completeness checks;
- **Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical.**

**Bonus points if you have**:

- Experience with Chargebee or any other comparable SaaS Billing Systems;
- Background in start-ups, scale-ups or similar mindset;
- Advanced Excel skills, such as proficiency in pivot tables etc.

**What you will bring with you**:

- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Meticulous attention to detail with high accuracy standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with mínimal need for supervision
- Adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic environment
- Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SaaS billing, or comparable billing systems
- Ability to spot and resolve discrepancies in the billing data
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English (Business Fluent) and German (C1 level or above)
