**We are looking for a (Senior) Accountant for our Finance Team in the heart of buzzing Berlin**

As a (Senior) Accountant you will be joining the Accounting Operations Team and take on responsibility for GL and cash accounting in the day-to-day and closing business. This role will collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Controlling to support monthly closing and reporting. In collaboration with our Group Treasury you will manage treasury related processes & activities for the group.

The (Senior) Accountant will report directly to the Team Lead Accounting Operations and will work with the rest of the company domestically and internationally (e. g. for our US entity) to ensure efficient and timely operations of the accounting function.

**You will**:

- Support on the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including statutory reporting
- Be responsible for certain sections of the General ledger accounting (especially accruals, fixed assets and salary postings)
- Post month-end journal entries and prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Support administration of online banking platforms, liquidity planning, cash management and other treasury projects

**You have**:

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the SaaS/software industry
- Strong understanding of HGB accounting principles (especially Cash, OPEX and CAPEX)
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently to meet challenging deadlines
- Proficient German and intermediate English language skills

**You are**:

- Advanced in HGB accounting
- Familiar with Corporate Treasury elements
- Experienced in working with an ERP Systems (experience with SAGE X3 is a plus)

**Nice-to-have**:

- Working experience in SAAS company
- IFRS Knowledge
- Experiences in consolidation and taxes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or Certified General Ledger Accountant (IHK)
