PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
CoE Compensation operates as a global team within the Finance Board Area. We are responsible for implementing incentive solutions using the relevant calculation tools for each role.
It is the responsibility of this team to understand the Bonus Plan Framework and to set up the calculation tools to reflect these requirements. Employees receiving incentive payments are to be paid accurately and on time.
CoE Compensation was a new team in 2015. Created from a merger between Controlling and TR Global Solution Centre. Main activity for 2018 will be running accurate bonus calculations and migrating employees to the new Callidus calculation tool.
This role requires a close working relationship with Controlling, Business Operations, Payroll, TR and HRBPs.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Evaluate the Quota Credit amounts of Sales employees using the relevant Go To Market and Quota credit rules for the relevant year.
Carry out bonus, commission, SPIFF calculations based on Employees’ Sales Achievements.
Understand current year Quota Credit Rules.
Quality control of calculations
Evaluate Winners Circle achievements
Provide Commission Accruals in line with the Financial Reporting time-table.
deliver accurate and timely payments instructions
prepare and distribute commission statements
Create quality and service reports
Perform tasks to agreed Service Levels (e.g. quality and time expectations met)
Interact with market unit Total Reward Partner, Finance, HR Business Partners and Payroll in order to ensure a smooth commission payment process
Support continuous improvement in effectiveness and quality of the service and procedures
Work on continuous process and tool improvements
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Very Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Execution skills, showing operational excellence (planning, organizing and communicating) and systematic working methods
Natural team player with a strong customer-focus
Ability to build strong work relationships in a virtual team
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory
Very good knowledge of English and German, written and spoken
Willingness to acquire deep understanding of SAP’s variable pay policies
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Previous experience of using SAP Software
Previous experience with Sales Incentives
