We are looking for a Senior Underwriter (M/F/d), based in Munich.

**Your Team**
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has a long experience in cyber insurance, protecting organizations against cyber crime and digital threats. As Market leaders, you will gain unrivalled exposure, working as part of our wider Central and Eastern Europe Financial Lines team.

**The Impact You Will Have**
Reporting to the Head of Underwriting, Financial Lines (FL) and dedicated to cyber, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Cyber strategy. Day to day, bringing your expertise in the area you will underwrite profitable new and renewal business and own your own portfolio of accounts (commercial and FI).

**Some of your specific responsibilities could include**
- Underwrite large new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom-line targets (regionally including global elements)
- Negotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions with clients and brokers
- Underwrite and evaluate Cyber exposure (commercial and FI),
- Demonstrate in depth technical expertise and IIP lead capabilities
- Proactively manage portfolio and capacities
- Support the CEE Cyber / FL Team by being CEE Cyber referral point
- Proactively participate in shaping the CEE Cyber Strategy

**What You’ll Bring to the Role**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Underwriting profitable Cyber business incl. IIP for large corporate Cyber segment
- Proven track record in acquiring and placing of profitable Financial Lines business on broker's side
- Recognized relationships with clients and brokers at peer group level and well established within market
- Specialized understanding of regional / local Line of Business insurance markets and competitor landscape, including global elements
- Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework
- Contract drafting and interpretation: Design, develop and implement consistent, robust wordings
- Policy Management: Robust understanding of policy administration life cycle, information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings
- Communication skills: Clearly and effectively express ideas and messages via speech or writing
- Analytical skills: Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze, study or examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions
- Preferably a degree in Economics or other appropriate discipline
- Language skills: German (fluent) and English (fluent)
